Volunteers in Parks - V.I.P.

We’re so proud of our VIPs! They contribute in so many ways like keeping our parks and trails looking their best. Some lend a hand at our community events while others encourage our youth through sports. Whether you spend an hour or two volunteering or bring together a group of VIPs, you’re sure to meet some friendly, fun-loving people!

Events Kite Festival, Fall Festival, & Jingle Jam Set up, decorating, activities & games, clean up	Trash(can) to Treasure Paint a park trashcan on your own or with a group to beautify our parks.

Brightbill Basketball Coaches Teams for boys and girls ages 8 -15 Summer league May - August; two days a week Mon – Thurs.,  Coaches must be 18+.	V.I.P. Sowers Dedicated volunteers for the community garden Work days are the 3rd Saturdays and 2nd & 4th Wednesdays

Park Clean Up 8:00-9:00 am 1st Sunday of the month April 5 & Aug. 2  Kohl Park May 3 & Sept. 6  Koons Park June 7 & Oct. 4   George Park July 5 & Nov. 1    Brightbill Park	Trail Maintenance 9:00 - 11:00 am 4th Saturday of the Month Volunteers must be 16+ and will clear brush, branches, litter, and help construct new trails.
