Ball Field / Court Rentals
Please call the Parks and Recreation Department at 717-657-5600 to confirm the availability of your date. To reserve a field using our online process, please click here.
Field Request Process
All organizations requesting to reserve fields or courts are required to apply by using the link provided above. An application must be submitted for each season or tournament. Please answer all questions in the application. A $100 application fee must be paid (by credit/debit card) when submitting each application. The deadline to submit the field/court rental application for Spring/Summer seasons is February 28. (Your application fee will be returned to you if we are unable to accommodate your request with a permit. For your information, the previous “Permit Fee” ($20/resident, $40 non-resident) has been eliminated.)
Permits will be processed separately for Spring/Summer and Fall seasons in an effort to obtain more accurate field usage information to better serve our community’s needs. Organizations that reserved fields/courts in the prior year are given priority for reserving them again in the current year. (A separate Fall Season field request mailing will be sent in mid-May and deadline to return in mid-June.)
Fees
Field permit fees (per date/per field) will be assessed after review and approval of the application/dates. If your online field request application and tournament/sporting event application (if applicable) have not been received by February 28, space may be granted to another organization.
After review of your applications, and depending on availability, final permits will be issued. An invoice will be emailed for your field usage at a later date, if applicable. Dates are not guaranteed until a final permit is issued.
Adult activities, non-resident youth sports organizations, and commercial users must pay fees.
