SUMMER BOCCE BALL LEAGUE AND OPEN HOUSE
Registration is now available to join a Bocce Ball league starting Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The Rotary Club of Colonial Park and the Lower Paxton Parks and Recreation department is opening registration for the summer Bocce Ball league for both men and women.
The league plays at Koons Park, near the pool.
This season, each team will consist of four (4) game night players and substitute players for backup. Each team will have four players for every game. Play will begin on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, and continue until September 10, 2025, every Tuesday and Wednesday night. Games will be played starting at 5:00 pm through 8:00 pm. Depending on the amount of interest, additional weeknights or other time slots may be added.
The cost to register for the Tuesday/Wednesday night summer league is $100.00 for a team, including substitutes. All substitutes for each team must be registered to play. All equipment is included, and weekly schedules and standings will be sent to each team captain. The Bocce Ball courts are open to the public for residents of the township any time except during league play or pavilion rental. This is a mixed team league, and all teams are encouraged to have both men and women on each team.
