While growing up with two parents as educators and a father who became a Harrisburg City Councilman Pamela saw living examples of how important it is to serve the community where you make your home. As such along the way Pamela has worked with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters organization, she started a Girl Scout Troop in Harrisburg where there hadn’t been one in over 10 years and is a foster parent.
Pamela is a graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College and Temple University. After graduating she worked for PHFA and IBM before moving with her spouse to Dallas, Texas. After living there for 2 years, they moved to Evanston, IL. Eventually she started law school at Northwestern University School of Law. Once she graduated and was admitted to the Illinois bar Pamela worked for the City of Chicago and practiced law as a solo practitioner. She returned home to Harrisburg where she eventually went into the family business of education. After getting a Master’s in Education from Towson University, she taught second grade in Maryland. Later she returned home to teach at Harrisburg School District and moved to Lower Paxton Township. Pamela’s home church is Living Water Community Church.
