Meet Karen DeLong, our new Finance Director. Karen has 38 years of accounting experience with the majority being in the non-profit/government sector. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Penn State Harrisburg and has held her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license for 28 years.
As the Finance Director for LPT, Karen would like to continue to improve financial efficiency and enhance transparency to ensure long-term fiscal health. She is thrilled to be a part of the LPT family and help grow the Township in a cost-efficient manner.
Karen was born and raised in Susquehanna Township and recently lived in Allenwood, PA for her last job. In her previous role, she was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for a drug and rehab facility. After nine years, Karen decided that it was time to move back home to be closer to her family. She is currently in the process of moving to Lower Paxton where she is excited to not only be an employee of LPT, but also now a resident. In her spare time, Karen enjoys crafting, playing bingo and going to craft shows as well as spending time with family.
