Lower Paxton is now using Roadbotics software to analyze the condition of our roads. The software has a rating system with a pavement condition index that scores a roadway from intersection to intersection. The software is inside a vehicle that traveled over 220 miles of Township road and reviewed the condition of each. The Township Public Works Department uses this information to help select the next roads that need improvement work or paving. More on this year's road work to come...
