Meeting Agenda

The Lower Paxton Township Historical Commission invites residents to attend the monthly meeting and help to form a strong foundation.
One of the primary objectives is to educate the community about the township’s rich history at every monthly meeting.

John Harris, Jr. (Dave Biser) will present The Story of The Paxton Rangers at the Thursday October 4 meeting of Lower Paxton Township Historical Commission.
Don’t miss this Historical Presentation with the most famous Colonial Citizen of this area.
John Harris. Jr. will tell what it was like to live in the Lower Paxton Area in the 18th Century and how the Paxton Rangers came about; striving to keep the local inhabitants safe from attack. His knowledge of the time period will help all of us better understand what the early settlers went through to survive and help grow the area to the thriving township it is today.
The public is welcome to this workshop.
Please come and join us for this informational meeting Thursday October 4, 2018, 6 PM at the Lower Paxton Municipal Center 425 Prince St.  Lower Paxton Township, PA.
