Taxpayer Impact Since 1999 Image

The Friendship Center in Lower Paxton Township has been supported by the Township since its inception in 1999.

The support provided by the Township over the course of that time has been documented in a graph as well as in a spreadsheet format.
Documents can be viewed here: Graph / Spreadsheet.

Lower Paxton Township is rated by Moody’s Investors Services. Currently, Lower Paxton Township has a Aa2 rating. Just like a credit score, the Township’s credit rating can change. A credit rating is an evaluation of the credit risk of a prospective debtor, predicting their ability to pay back the debt, and an implicit forecast of the likelihood of the debtor defaulting. See the article below for more details on the Township’s rating, which is impacted by the Friendship Center.
