POLICE OFFICER
The Dauphin County Chiefs of Police Association and ten of its member agencies have entered into an agreement to conduct a cooperative testing process for the position of police officer. The physical agility test will take place on Saturday September 18, 2010 and the written exam will take place on Sunday September 19, 2010. The agencies participating at this time include:

Maintenance Person/ Custodian Friendship Center
Lower Paxton Township possesses a vacancy in the position of Maintenance person / custodian at the Friendship Center . This is a part-time position that reports to a Facility Manager.
The Maintenance Person performs manual work involving the cleaning and light maintenance of municipally owned buildings, including simple repairs to fixtures, furnishings, and equipment.
The Maintenance Person is required to apply judgment based upon training and work experience. This employee works independently under general supervision. Work is reviewed by superiors through observation, and advice and assistance are provided on unusual or difficult problems.
The rate of pay for the position shall be in accordance with the Clerks & Custodians collective bargaining unit agreement.
