Lower Paxton Township (population 47,360) is seeking an experienced individual to join the management team of a community center in an active and growing municipality.  Responsibilities include: customer service, activity coordination; employee supervision; facility management; rentals; budget; maintaining records; inventory.  The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree in recreation or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Experience in recreation, parks, facility management or supervision is required. Crossing Guard

Lower Paxton Township possesses a vacancy in the position of Crossing Guard in the Police Department. This is a part-time position. The crossing guard is responsible for directing and regulating traffic to assist school buses and ensure the safe crossing of students to and from school. The hours of work for this position will typically be between 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM and 3:30 to 4:15 PM. Monday through Friday typical work week shall be 10 hours.

Starting wage for the position is $9.84 per hour.

Uniforms, equipment and training provided by Lower Paxton Twp. Police Dept.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have reliable transportation.
