Supervisor have been two consecutive years of local property tax
reductions in 1994 and 1995 and a 20% reduction in 2005, and the
addition of numerous parks and the preservation of more than 300
acres of Township open space.
He proposed and was instrumental in the development of the Township's
Capital Equipment acquisition program for our volunteer fire companies.
He has supported similar programs for our youth groups and senior
citizens. Bill has actively pursued the development of municipal
recreational facilities, including new and expanded park facilities
and the Friendship Community Center. He supports Township-wide
transportation improvements, traffic reduction and calming on local
streets, and increasing bike paths, walks, and greenways.
Other projects high on Bill's list include the preservation of
the Historic Linglestown Square. Bill and Suzie purchased
several buildings in the center of Linglestown in 2004 and are involved
in restoration projects that which will greatly enhance and help
revitalize the Village of St. Thomas
