Heart Smart/Street Wise Program

Litter along the roadways has become a problem in Lower Paxton Township.  The Township's "Heart Smart/Street Wise" program, similar to the PennDOT sponsored “Adopt a Highway” program.  This program will target local roadways in need of attention and not covered by the State program.  The Township is looking for volunteer groups interested in this program and desiring to help keep Township roads clean.  Any group that might be interested or that would like more information should contact the Township through Ken Shoaff at 657-5600.
