2009 Leaf Collection Schedule

PLEASE READ THE IMPORTANT NOTES BELOW.  When your address is located, a pop-up box will appear indicating when your leaves will be collected.  Please note, leaf collection will not be performed on streets indicated in RED (i.e. state routes, private street, etc).

*Note - Certain abrreviations (i.e. Mtn, Pkwy, Pkwy W, Col, Clb,) are not immediately recognized by the mapping application and may cause an error when trying to locate your address.  If you receive an error message, or a message that your address does not appear in the township, please re-enter your address with no abbreviations and be sure to include "Harrisburg".                            

IMPORTANT NOTES - PLEASE READ

Please enter your address to the left to see when your leaves are scheduled to be collected.  Please rake leaves to the curbside as early as possible during your collection period. Adverse weather may result in delays from the posted schedule.

Follow these simple guidelines to maximize leaf collection efforts.  

Leaf collection is for LEAVES ONLY. DO NOT place sticks, twigs, branches, or other waste materials with leaves. Other materials may damage vacuum equipment, delaing the leaf program. If leaves are mixed with other materials they will not be collected.

Rake leaves TO WITHIN 4 FEET of the curb or edge of roadway. Long narrow piles are easier to pick up. Do not rake leaves onto the road. Leaves raked onto roadway may create a hazard for drivers or clog storm water inlets during a rain event.

DO NOT TARP leaves. Crews will not collect leaves that are covered by tarps.

Due to the size of the area scheduled for collection each week, crews are unable to back track for leaves raked  to the curb after they pass through, for tarped leaves, and for leaves with other materials.

Please avoid parking on the street during leaf collection weeks.  Parked vehicles delay the collection process and may prevent leaves from being collected.

Crews will make every effort to collect leaves throughout the entire Township two (2) times during the leaf collection season, dependent upon weather and equipment.
