COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICERS

The Community Service Officers (CSOs) perform non-enforcement police related duties for the department. Their activities include patrolling township parks, installing car safety seats, the placement of speed monitoring trailers, picking up stray animals, and delivering documents to court agencies, fingerprinting and photographing applicants and arrestees. They also control access to the township leaf and yard waste recycling facility.

At the present time, the Department is not accepting applications for the position of CSO.
