Blue Mountain Sertoma Club

Meetings of the Sertoma Club are held at the Country Oven every Thursday, beginning at 12:10 p.m.  For information call Gladys Liddick at 545-1766.

Central Dauphin High School Alumni Association (CDHSAA)
The CDHSAA meets on the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Gander Lodge Room at the Gander Mountain Store on Route 22 and Devonshire Road in Colonial Park. The Association also has a monthly breakfast on the first Wednesday of every month at Geo's Country Oven at 9:00 AM. Both events open to all Central Dauphin graduates, retired staff and fans. Friendship Senior Center

The Friendship Senior Center operates from the Friendship Center at 5000 Commons Drive and is open to individuals 55 years of age and older.  The Senior Center is open Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  For more information call 657-1547.

Golden Age Club

The Lower Paxton Twp. Golden Age Club meets the first Tuesday of each month at the Paxtonia Fire Hall, beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Kiwanis Club

The Kiwanis Club of East Shore Harrisburg meets every Tuesday, beginning at 7:00 a.m., at the Country Oven Restaurant.  Call 545-6793 for more information.

Linglestown Garden Club

The Linglestown Community Garden Club meets the second Wednesday of each month at the Linglestown Fire Company Hall.  For more information, call President Diane Kreider at 652-3827.

Linglestown Fire Ladies Auxiliary

The Linglestown Fire Ladies Auxiliary meets on the third Monday of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the Linglestown Fire Company Hall.  Call 657-1869 for more information.

Linglestown Women’s Club

The Linglestown Women’s Club meets the fourth Tuesday of each month, beginning at 7:30 p.m., September through April, in the Fellowship Hall of the Linglestown United Methodist Church on Mountain Road.  For information call Mrs. Nancy Zlogar at 691-6849. 

Lower Paxton Historical Society

The Historical Society is comprised of a group of citizens interested in researching, recording, and preserving past events important to our community.   These historians meet on the first Wednesday of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the Municipal Center.  The Society’s website is www.LPHS-history.org.

Lower Paxton Township Lions Club

The Lower Paxton Township Lions Club meets each month on the second and fourth Tuesdays, beginning at 6:30 p.m., Geo’s Family Restaurant.

Lower Paxton Lioness Club

The Lower Paxton Lioness Club meets the third Monday of each month, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at Geo’s Restaurant.

MOMS Club

The East Shore MOMS Club meets on the first Wednesday of the month, beginning at 9:45 a.m., at the East Shore Baptist Church, except in June, July and August when it meets at Possibility Place playground.  Membership is $25 a year.  Contact Nina Ertel at ndertel@comcast.net for more information.  The club’s website is www.momsclubeastshoreharrisburg.itgo.com.

Nimble Thimble Quilt Guild

Quilters meet the first, third, and fifth Mondays of each month, between 7:00 p.m. to 9 p.m., and the second and fourth Wednesdays, between 10:00 a.m. and noon, at the East Shore Library.  Meetings are open to the public. 

Paxton Area Jaycees

Penn Harris Toastmasters

Rotary Club of Colonial Park

Soroptimist International of Harrisburg

Soroptimist International, a professional and business women’s club, meets on the fourth Tuesday, September through June, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the Wyndham Garden Hotel, 265 Eisenhower Blvd.  For membership information call Eileen Hileman, 545-1094.

Soroptimist of Harrisburg East
